AVCon AMV Competition - Finalists announced!

AVCon's AMV competition is back for another year!

AVCon is an annual Anime & Video Games Festival held in Adelaide, Australia. AVCon celebrates the world of anime, gaming, cosplay, pop culture, art and more in one big community-based event for all ages. AVCon was the first anime and video game convention in Australia and prides itself on being Adelaide’s premier anime and gaming festival while still remaining 100% volunteer-run and not-for-profit.

We're now excited to open up our contest to the broader AMV audience and give you the chance to get involved.

The core Categories are:
Best Drama
Best Action
Best Comedy

There are also the following Breakaway Awards:
Audience Choice
Best in Show

Thank you so much to everyone that entered the AVCon AMV Competition this year!
I know we posted it a bit last minute, but you guys really showed up for it, so much so we filled up super quickly~

Now that we know how much enthusiasm there is on this forum for competitions we'll make sure to be more prepared for next year.

For now though, we are super excited to announce that the following editors have had at least one submitted video make it through to our screenings on the 5th & 6th of July as finalists!
