Hi I'm Frey!

1- On anime expo's website, it says "competition takes place on the evening of Day 1", but the submission form said July 4th. Is this a typo? Since day 1 is July 3rd if I read correctly

2- I've already submitted before the deadline my AMV according to the recommended 300MB file size, but I don't like the quality of it at this size. (I understand though 300MB for hundreds of entries is a lot of space! LOL). If I am selected as a finalist to premiere at the convention, would I be able to send a higher bitrate/filesize for the big screen? (such as in 4K or a high bitrate 1080p file)-- Assuming the compression will be more obvious the bigger the screen

I apologize for the particular questions and I hope you enjoy your trip! I appreciate your help very much! <3 :)

Wait, I forgot about that part where it was supposed to be under 300 MB? I accidentally submitted the Full-size submission when I submitted mine. Can I resubmit with a good link? Or just PM you the good link or something?

hi there, for question 1, I think the website is just not updated yet. I'll notify them.
question 2, just go ahead and send your higher quality submission, we'll notify you if anything.

Thank you! I should change my ticket to Day 2 then July 4th?
I'm not sure because if I want to change my day 1 -> day 2... the FAQ says: "The deadline to submit your exchange or upgrade request is April 11, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT."

wondering as there might be editors in the same boat
Again not sure there's a different date (not April 11) that needs to be updated if we wish to change our ticket
Please lemme know and thank you so much!

I apologize if i'm bothering with this- I'm not sure if it'd be okay but I sent over an email of the AMV i sent over but with a small revision!

It was a revision that was bothering me (it's a hand clap gesture I did that is off timing)

I hope that this revision can be accepted!! Thank you and I apologize if it's any bother! :)
