AMV Contest! In Albuquerque! Deadline's this Friday!

We're looking for some great submissions to potentially be crowned:

Best Action
Best Drama
Best Fun/Upbeat
and our newly added
Audience Choice Champion!

It's the same as basically every other contest out there (no hentai, no piracy, clean edits of the song if you can find 'em), except that as well as being crowned the Best ______ at Sabakucon, you've got the chance to go on to our AMV League Western Regionals, and maybe even this year's AMV League Nationals!

The TL;DR is that a few years back, I wanted to set up a "scoring system" for a first-year con's AMV Contest.

After I put together the basic stuff, my wife then decided that she wanted to try having a "multi-tier contest", where the winners at smaller shows would go on to compete against each other at larger shows.

Five-and-a-half years later, I'm now judging about one contest per month. It is utterly exhausting, but at least I get to learn more about cool AMV-making techniques. (jk, I love it, but holy crap)

Dude, I'm just kinda sad we always go to San Japan, because, while I love, love, love that show to death, it means we hafta miss out on all the cool stuff you do at Saboten.

Clearly I need to develop some sort of human cloning machine. XD
