Rules are open for this year. Our new theme is The Cowboy so time to get the gunslinging going ^_~ Videos that follow the theme do not have to be yaoi in nature - but cannot featuer male x female relationships. Nonethelss I strongly encourage and welcome videos using the theme.

I'm trying to improve the contest this year so if there's anything you think I can improve on just let me know.

Also I now have the 2009 awards in my hands (though there is a printing error which I apologize for. Please e-mail me your address if you are missing your 2009 award and I'll try to get it out this weekend. I'm really sorry for the delay. Taking the BAR exam in February of last year, getting married in July and taking the Nevada Bar exam the following february has kept me far busier than I ever wanted to be for a full year.

Now to get on finding an outfit.

Do the AMVs HAVE to be cowboy related in some way? [I know this may seem like a ridiculously obvious question, but I want to clarify, since I've had AMV contests have a "theme" before, only to realize at the last minute that it was only for the convention, and not the contest itself] O_o

"The theme this year is "The Cowboy," celebrating the free-living adventuring and gunslinging bishounen of the wild, wild west."

Technically speaking it doesn't have to be wild west so much as it contains the spirit of it and/or that style of gunslinging (i.e. Outlaw Star & Cowboy Bebop would still fall within the confines of the theme).
