Well I think I can send in another two vids. One for "normal" and another one for hentai category. Let´s see if I don´t forget it tomorrow =D

Yesterday night I started the upload and I noticed that it was already late. Alright so I canceled the upload.

Today I wanted to continue the upload, but it doesn´t seam that I have the rights to do it. Of course I don´t have the rights to overwrite the file or rename my vid on the server. So I just uploaded the vid under a different name.
It has the prefix: "SUCCESFUL UPLOAD_" and should be alright

I have noticed an influx of people requesting FTP accounts. Everyone who has requested an account has been messaged to look here, youmacon forums, or the contest info page for the FTP info has a constant FTP account has been created. That information is a few posts back, with info on what is possible and what is not on that server. Essentially, you can upload your video, but not resume, delete or download. If you have a problem with your upload you either contact the email address listed for the account or upload a new file (same name) with a marker stating which upload is best. If you keep having problems sending your file inform the FTP manager and he will most likely set you up with a special account.

Remember, sending the file with the file name provided to you in the status page will speed up processing.

Also, Everyone has aprox 39 hours as of this posting to fill out the entry form and begin their uploads. If you are having legitimate problems with the FTP service you will be given more time to finish your upload, however you need to contact the FTP manager via his email provided first.

Also, Filezilla told me that there was an error and I was disconnected, but the file on the server is exactly of the same filesize of the actual one, so I think the upload went well... any way to be sure about it?

I will be testing all files when I grab them from the server. If you are unsure, contact the FTP admin and he will test the files on his PC. If I find problems with any file I will contact the creator in order to get a new upload to replace the faulty one.

It not a problem that I'm getting the FTP requests, I'm just trying to save everyone a step since due to the new FTP server it is not needed.

Usually, after an upload finishes, your ftp client will try to double-check that the upload went well, but since you don't have permission to download from the site, Filezilla can't check the file. I think the same thing happened to me. But if it has the same filesize, it's probably fine.

I will be downloading and checking new uploads tonight. So hopefully everyone who has submitted an entry recently will have updates on their video status tonight.

Beyond that, I will download and check videos as they come in and in a final burst once all FTP entries have finished uploading after the deadline. Watch your status pages for updates. I will only update to received once the video has been downloaded and checks out. After the deadline I will then update status to accepted provided your video meets all the requirements.

On a side note, 34 hours left.

Submissions are officially closed. Thank you to everyone who entered. There will not be a list of finalists this year as every video submitted will be competing for awards (unless marked as an exposition.) Check your status pages to see if your video has been accepted. Judging will begin next weekend so expect your video's status to be updated by then.

If you are attending the convention the awards ceremony will be in Main Events on Saturday, they will also be announced Sunday during the VAT closing. I will post the winners within 1 week of the convention, depending on when I can get home and set back up.
