Connichi 2008 - AMV Contest - Last Call (24 hours to go)

The deadline is in sight, 24 hours time left to enter the contest.

If you have sent something already, please check our forum as a conformation. It's been updated just a few minutes ago.

Feel free to enter any good AMV you have made since last September. Just send me a link via PM or email to amv-contest@connichi.de to enter the Free for All Contest. If your AMV is about to premier after September 13 (e.g. AWA Pro Entries) it may enter the Exclusive Contest. Please register here first: https://www.connichi.de/amv-register.en.php

On our website you can find our ruleset and some other information regarding the convention.

Of course participating in these two contests is not mutually exclusive (even though the same video may not enter both contests).

Our session to rate all entries is going to take place on the next weekend.

The Connichi is the biggest Anime and Manga related convention in Germany with about 13,000 visitors. It takes place in Kassel on September 12th to 14th. Last year we had almost 1000 people seeing the very best entries in the great hall of the Kongress Palais even though it was around midnight.

I just tried mailing a link to my entry to the free for all contest to the address above and it bounced back undelivered. Please advise.

I tried to recreate that problem, but I got my own mail... anyway, just send me a PM, that should work

HOLY CRAP! You´re serious? I definatly need to send in my AWA Pro vid

Uhm... I already registered yesterday for the Free-Contest only. Can I still send in my vid for the Pro Contest or do I have to register again?

Ich hoffe mal das ich bis 24 Uhr das Video dann noch einsenden kann/darf. Upgeloadet wäre es ja schon, aber eben unter falscher Benennung (für den Free). Es auf dem Pro Contest zu zeigen wäre schon klasse!
Hab leider sehr viel zu tun und bin deshalb erst später zur Registration usw. gekommen. .-.

Über Instantmessanger heute Nacht werde ich dann versuchen einen Downloadlink zur Datei an dich zu versenden.

A big Thank You goes to all the last minute sender, who kept me busy since I opened this thread. This weekend all the judges are going to meet to rate all the entries. IT will be great fun.

Look forward to results being presented on September 13 at the Connichi and the official announcement few days later.

Thanks again to anyone who participated or at least had the intention to ^^
