A quick question about MAGIX

Post by Dvl-Jigen » Tue Oct 28, 2008 6:50 pm

I just finished my newest video, (also my first video using MAGIX) and when I went to export the movie, and for some reason nearly every format that I export it as, is either super huge (like 500MB) or the video looks really crappy, (which isn't a result of the footage used either) So if anyone can make a suggestion, to help me with this, that'd be great, thanks

This should be in the Other Video Editing Systems forum.

You've tried exporting in lagarith or huffyuv?

what you want to do is export as lossless then use an external program to compress your Video and your Audio (virtualdub mod) OR Compress both in Zarxgui

well, number one; video editor are not good at Compression -- their Editors!

Once you've saved what you have, RAW or Huffy is fine, the file WILL be big.

Now is the time for SUPER -or- Avi2dvd encoding. This .vob file is tight and clean.

then use either Virtual Dub -or- AviSynth to complete the conversion from VOB2mp4
