Does anyone have any feedback on Effectslab pro?

I'm thinking of getting effectslab pro as an alternative to Vegas pro, because it has masking and a lot of other useful effects that I could use along with Vegas Movie Studio. It's also pretty affordable. I'm going to download the demo, but I was curious to know whether anyone was familiar with the interface of this software and whether it's worth the buy.
