rendering help
well I'm having problems with rending in Sony Vegas 7. When i use DvD footage in Vegas and render it as an AVI file there are little lines(looks like T.V sim effect) but i can render it any other way, and theres no problems. Is there a cetain way I should render it or something? help please.

sounds like interlacing to me. Usually that's something you take care of before you start editing, but you may be able to fix it now.
here's how to set up your project
here's how to remove interlacing
if you don't have avisynth (or know what it is for that matter) you'll want to get the amvapp and look at this section (It is recommended that you read the entire guide)

Ok that didn't work, its still interlaced also I forgot to mention the Video also lags(meaning it doesn't correspond with the time - for instance I render a 4 sec clip and its interlaced and I play the video it goes up to four seconds and it continues but the video it progressing really slowly. If this is can't be fixed just tell me. I don't feel like going through all the work again this laptop is shit Anyways.
