I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been having the same problem for ages now and I've given up on old projects because the rendering just blacks out. Even tech support from Sony couldn't help me fix it, and after I deleted the program and reinstalled it and did the same with all my codecs.

And all I had to do was disable the resample. I just tried it and it worked. <333 Thank you infinately for this information, now I can resurrect old projects.
