When you mask, you get the rather ugly line that shows up, i've dealt with in the past with blurs and faded lines, but is there any way to get rid of it for good? I'll upload a pic if u need more imagery.

Ah, i think i know what i was doing wrong, there was only a line because of the effects i was using when i was maksing, mostly lighting effects and contrast and the like, maybe i just didn't have the setting the exact same on both timelines.
Cuz when i do it now it doesn't do it anymore : /
