Special "piano" effect (Sailor Moon - Tallulah)

Yes, the old parts' persistance was because of the other alpha-level, which prevented the right parts from remaining black. I solved by adding another CC to the second alpha level, so I use the first one to add the luminance mask to single vertical bars, and the second to cut away already processed parts. Works well

With luminance mask the effect isn't as clear and smooth as in the previously mentioned AMV (Sailor Moon - Tallulah) but I couldn't find anything better for now :/

you could have changed the order of the effects to make the cookie cutter last, because the order of them does matter :3

Someone told me the Glow effect would fit better instead of Luminance, but I can't get it to work...

Oh, just to be sure: does glow work even with cookie cutter or I can only use masking?
