get the debugmode frameserver (I'm not sure where I got it... sorry) and feed the "fake" avi it makes you into zarxgui!~

oh, and as for the script, they're easy but for the sake of simplicity why not just manually select regions that make sense and export them seperately... You do know that you can highlight a region, hit f4 and check "render loop region only" to get just the piece right? and hit 'n' to place a big red marker to make sure you don't leave out frames between pieces...
that being said, you do know how to avisynth-combine them back together afterwards?
Honestly, just export to lagarith and you wont go over 2 gigs... And if you have problems with lagarith, then ya your best option is just rendering in pieces...
