AvsPmod error "Cannot read avisynth plugins directory"

Post by boagz57 » Thu Jul 30, 2020 9:38 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to use avsPmod and I'm currently getting an error:

"Cannot read the avisynth plugins directory from the registry HKLM\Software\Avisynth'plugindir2_5' or 'plugindir+' is missing or wrong. You should set the plugins path under options manually or register it."

I downloaded and installed avisynth 2.6 (ran the installer) before installing avspmod. I'm not very computer savvy but I know about the registry but am afraid to modify anything in it but I don't know what the message means with "you should set the plugins path under options manually". It doesn't seem like I can open avspMod so I don't know where 'options' is.

AviSynth has practically been replaced by AviSynth+, I would recommend installing that or just using the AMVpack installer which includes the latest AvsPmod and most of the plugins you will need.
Software & Guides: AMVpack | AMV 101 | AviSynth 101 | VapourSynth 101
