PLZ I NEED HELP QUICK
i downloaded the Sony Vegas 7.0 trial and ALL my videos are AVI and use DIVX. Everyone says i shouldnt use those on Sony Vegas. I have no idea what to do. Can you please help me out on what to do with my files. And also if you could give me a link to a video or somthing that helps me with how to work with Vegas that would be great too. Thank you.

Read "A&E's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video (BETA)" to learn about AviSynth and VirtualDubMod, which can be used to convert your video to a lossless format for editing.
Also, this same forum has The Idiots Guide to Vegas stickied at the very top.
