Special effects for clips in pinnacle studio 10

Post by Ravensoldier22 » Thu Aug 02, 2007 1:37 am

well, I finally got the memory to run the program, and I spent a while experimenting since it is my only upgrade from windows movie maker...

I see a buncha transitions, but if I want to add special effects to the clips I'm using (from dvd footage) how do I do it?

any general, but widely used and popular, effects and how to use them in this program??

.. Studio 9, 10 and 11 are all basically the same.

If you are in story-board mode, drag-it between the clips.

if you are in realtime mode, drag-it into location.

.. The duration can be set in realtime for length and switch-over timing.

Pinnacle does not care if it is an effect or video or picture(s)

ok, well

I pumped out my first experiment on this program. The only thing that bugs me about pinnacle 10 is the lack of plugin effects. There are some, but a majority of them are watermarked and require you to buy them to use.

does anyone know where I can get some FREE 3rd party plugins, or someway around the spending-money-on plugins deal?

The vast majority of Adobe ones i've seen are the same way. Googling for free plugins didn't help i take it?
