After effects exporting blank image..

I have a black solid on the background.

On it, I have a Path Text effect showing video bumper

It's 10 seconds long.

After effects CS4

I export it as uncompressed AVI, the effect is gone, and there's just a black solid

The same happens if I try any other codec ( Cinepak, etc )

What gives?

Oh, and the video is only 5 seconds long - when it's supposed to be 10..
