adobe premier flash scene

ok i have adobe premier pro cs3 and iam not that good at it....but iam making a amv i was wondering how would i add like a flash effect in a clip ...like to have a flasing to the beat?. looked in the effect and transition folder and i dont see any effects that would do that.

Well, one way would be to just create a white color matte and quickly fade it in and then out over your video. Pretty simple.

Oh, and to create the aforementioned color matte, just right click in the Project Window and select New Item > Color Matte, then change the color to white.

You can also use the effect Procamp by using the luminosity parameter.
