I've searched the boards for existing solutions but haven't found any that solve my problem. Currently, I have a working avisynth script* for a VOB file. The AVS plugins for premeire don't seem to work with Premeire Elements 3.0. I've also tried producing a fake AVI cover** for my AVS via makeAVIS from FFDShow. However, it renders as a black screen with the appropriate length in Premeire Elements. In Media Player Classic though, it runs and displays the video correctly (but stops working when I try to exit).
My VOB file is progressive FILM, 16:9, and (according to APE) has a frame rate of 23.976.
Should I enable FFDShow to support a specific format? If not, what would be the best way to get my clips working in APE?
*My filters are LanczosResize and Blur. Have tried with ConvertToRGB24.
**The AVI covers had been created through:
Non-forced output colorspace: YUY2
Forced: RGB24, RBG32

The plugin does work, but the installer that comes with the AMVApp doesn't copy it to the right place.
You have to find the plugin (called "IM-Avisynth"), then drop the plugin into \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0\Plug-ins\en_US. Once you do that, start Elements and you should be able to load AVS scripts.
