Why can't I drag audio or any footage into the timeline?

This is fucked up. Whenever I import anything, I can't drag it into the timeline. Audio, Video, Pictures, Nothing. What's this all about?

you could try fixing your registry or repairing the software with the cd if you own it but those are just my suggestions because it seems more of a computer problem then the software but thats all i got at the moment
