AE Audio...

Post by Hiro The Dragon King » Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:13 pm

Now, I just got a new version of AE(7.0 Pro) and I can't get it to preview audio from an audio clip. It will preiview it if the audio is from a video clip but only when I use Preview Audio(Hear Forward). I can't get it to do both. I've use older versions of AE and they previewed audio no prob. Any suggestions...

P.S. Yes, I am using a WAV file...

Press "0" (numpad) on your keybord to get an RAM preview (Audio+Video).
Press "," (numpad) on your keybord to get an audio only preview.
I don´t know if the "," is the same on your "numpad", because I use a german keyboard. Let´s say: Right to the 0.

AE is made for effects. Adobe made Premiere for editing that´s why AE simply ignores audio.

use the "." on the numberpad to preview your audio.

You can change the length of the preview in preferences.
