I create a folder and put image sequence in there... when you go to import it into AE, select the first image in the sequence (ether 0 or 1) and then there should be a check box there that says "image sequence" click that and it will import it as a single object but contain all the frames in the sequence.
I done all that it comes out as a single object but the problem is it doesn't keep the transparency...

If you're the one who asked for help via e-mail, I did respond and explain what to do, but you (if it was you) never replied to tell me how it was going soooo I will continue the conversation here because obviously it's not going well:

I haven't used CS3 (and probably never will) but I think you should narrow down where the problem lies. Is your video editor not interpreting transparent footage the way it should be? Are you not exporting the file properly? Are you not masking properly?

1. Make a transparent PSD file with some opaque areas and bring that into your video program. If it's transparency isn't being read, it's probably your video editor's settings that are suspect.

2. If the above works, make a mock masked PSD file (using the same method you used on the video footage to create transparency) and bring that single file into your video program. If it doesn't work, your masking method is probably the problem.

3. If the above works...read Adobe Help to make sure you're doing everything properly as far as exporting/importing image sequences goes and then check back here to report on your findings. ^_^
