Two Problems
The first one has been happening for a month or so.
If I ever do anything in Virtual Dub mod like updating an AVISynth script, VDub automatically crashes on me. Any changes I make are still kept, but I'd like to know why it's doing this and how I can fix it.
I have tried uninstalling it and installing it two times, but it does nothing.
Second one:
My Haruhi footage (from a DVD) seems to have some parts interlaced despite that DIndex says it's progressive. It also fluctuates from FILM 50% to 99% depending on where I test it. Anyway, I did Inverse Telecine and I noticed some parts were still interlaced. However, the majority had no interlacing.
Please help me with this if you can.
Thank you in advance.

Is this like some better version of VDub Mod?AaronAMV wrote:Try AvsP.
There was one time that something came up. Every other time, I get the generic program crash dialog box.JunichiroAMV wrote:Is there some sort of message that comes up?

It's more hands on, and easier to adjust settings. I personally haven't used it yet because I haven't ripped any DVDs lately, but a lot of editors prefer it.Kumatora wrote:Is this like some better version of VDub Mod?AaronAMV wrote:Try AvsP.

Here's the screencap I just took. You'll see it around Haruhi's hand. This is one of the few instances of interlacing after IVTC. I put it in a spoiler box for you since the pic is big.AaronAMV wrote:I could try. Could you provide a screenshot?
And have you tried different methods despite what DGIndex says?
Spoiler :
Also, I take it that I'm supposed to use VDub and AvsP together?[/spoiler]

I made that spoiler thing hoping that it would box it in like the vBulliten forums.AaronAMV wrote:Lol, you should have just put a link, but I don't care. I don't even watch tMoHS

Yes, I looked there while I was working on the video.
