VDmod and HD

Post by SilkAMV » Tue Aug 12, 2008 1:08 pm

Can VDmod convert High Definition film? I'm curious since a client at my job lacks the technology to play high definition film and called us to see if we can convert it to quicktime or something else she is able to play. I don't know anything else about it but I am curious to see if it's possible for me to do something like that at home. Basically, I just want to know what VDmod's capabilities are as far as HD goes. I'm not expecting any quick answers unless they are "no it can't, period" so don't worry about me not knowing the specifics of the client's request.

Compatibility has little to nothing to do with the frame size and almost entirely to do with the current format (Container and codec) the video is in and what you want to turn it into.
