Out of Bounds Memory Access error in VDubMod

Post by Angelic_Sabyne » Fri Jul 04, 2008 1:13 am

So I'm trying to work on a new encode of my latest AMV. One of the problems that keeps cropping up is that, when the file starts to save, VDM almost instantly crashes with this message:
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'huffyuv'...
...while decompressing video frame 70 with "Huffyuv v2.1.1 - CCESP Patch v0.2.5" [biCompression=55594648] (VideoSource.cpp:1627)...
...while running thread "Processing" (thread.cpp:120).
(This is just one example. It's crashed with this same error message at a number of different frames on different saves.)

If anyone could tell me what this error is and how to work around it, I'd really appreciate it. I've gotten some great feedback on how to make my latest vid even better, and I'm really anxious to get it fixed up. :D

Hm, I'll give that a try and see if it helps. It's only been with my larger (1Gig+) files that it's choked and thrown up the error message. But that might be what's causing the trouble.
