Green and Pink Blocks
Alright, I have just recently begun making my first AMV and I after I rip the DVD and put it into VirtualDubMod I get a whole bunch of green blocks all over the images.
Here is the order that I am using:
Ripping DVD with DVD Decrypter
Cutting the footage with VirtualDubMod
For some reason, I think that I am missing a step so any help would be appreciated.

Is it me or you are dumping vob files directly into virtual dub? You have to parse the vobs with DGIndex first and then work with the avisynth script. I suggest a good reading of the guides before you start editingI am ripping Gundam Wing Operation Two and now I havent quite figured out how to use DGIndex.

Good Luck!

When this happens, you need to use an alternate ripper. I've never found out exactly why one ripper chokes where another won't, but I've never had two rippers both fail to extract the same vob.
