I know I asked this question before but I need the answer in layman's terms. What is virtual dub for? :?:

I don't think I can put it in an easier way to understand than before.
there are many uses for vdub(/mod), the primary one (at least its primary use to people on this site) is to encode video.

for cropping, resizing, adding cleanup filters, compressing, and encoding.
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.
