I'd like to ask you what are your system spec... on my old pc (747 mhz CPU 384 mb ram) I get the same problem as you, dots on the right side with videos with a resolution of 704x400 and higher, generally... this isn't always true, but generally yes. And I use MPC... same videos and same player on my newer pc (1.7 ghz cpu 2 gb ram) and they work fine. Reinstalling player and codecs doesn't solve it... just downscale the vid in avisynth to something like 640x352 or 640x480 (depending on the ar of the vid) and compress it to xvid through virtualdubmod... it will play just fine.

The files will work in WMP but it is un synced with the audio. I have up to date codecs I would say. When I converted the video to MPEG2 and played it it doesn't have those dots, I just wanted to know if there was a way to just fix this problem with out resizing and etc.
