yeah I will do that first thanks for the hintScintilla wrote:Oh geez, I just noticed the 640x360 bit now. Well in that case, since SOMEthing is going to have to be resized vertically and since nobody else has said it yet:
I can't stress enough how important it is in a situation like this to IVTC OR DEINTERLACE BEFORE UPSCALING/DOWNSCALING. That is all.

Re: Multi-anime [Aspect ratio help]
sory for bothering you even more but I got some new dvds of claymore: vol1 is 720:540 and vol3 is 16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen - 852:480(awsome quality) so I wonder if 704:400 its still fine if I add this two?mirkosp wrote:You might want to go with 704x400 (it's widescreen, not 100% 16:9 but it's the closest to it that is mod16). Your 640x360 footage wouldn't be upscaled much, and neither the 640x480 (which would obviously be cropped to 640x360 first and then resized). As about the 848x480 footage, you wouldn't downscale it as much as if you were working with 640x360 directly. Working at 640x480 would imply the 640x360 to be letterboxed or upscaled more than it would be if you worked with 704x400, that's why I'm suggesting it.

Yeah it still is. Just remember to properly crop and resize and you're good to go.Ryukz82 wrote:sory for bothering you even more but I got some new dvds of claymore: vol1 is 720:540 and vol3 is 16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen - 852:480(awsome quality) so I wonder if 704:400 its still fine if I add this two?mirkosp wrote:You might want to go with 704x400 (it's widescreen, not 100% 16:9 but it's the closest to it that is mod16).
