Stupid VirtualDubMod will not save my Clean footage

Post by Sonydjsnmix » Fri Jan 23, 2009 8:07 pm

I can open my avs files with my VDM. But when I save them as avi files the VDM closes and I get an avi file that is only 16mb. What am I doing wrong?

Also, what settings are you using in VDubMod?

ConvertToYV12()
deen("a2d",4,9,11)
ColorYUV(gain_u=15)

I do it on my desktop and it works and saves the video file but it does not on the laptop. Even though they both have the same codecs.

Please, please tell me that you're using ColorYUV(gain_u=15) because your footage actually has a yellow tint and not just because it was done in EADFAG.
I have seen this EXACT line appear in way too many scripts that should never have had it.

And Deen is known to have memory leak issues (though it's been my experience that they usually manifest in a different manner, but the fact that it worked on one computer and not another makes me think this could be it), so try commenting that out and see if it works.

I just try it with only DirectShowSource and it still won't. My Vdub just don't seem to like avs files.

What codec are you exporting as, and are you sure you have enough room on your harddisk?
