Arg... I go to the Compression option, and "VirtualDub has stopped working."

I've tried this multiple times, and it does it every single time. Vista is bad alone, but the 64-bit is just horrible. What do you think I should do? Just save it as whatever the default is? I'm assuming it's uncompressed since a :41 second clip was over two gigs, but I'm not sure.
