It sounds like you might have the "Hide extensions for known file types" option checked in your Windows Folder Options (from Windows Explorer, Tools menu --> Folder Options... --> View tab). If this was the case, something misnamed like "pSharpen.avsi.avs" would just show up as "pSharpen.avsi", but Windows Explorer would (correctly) see it as a normal AVISynth script. Saving from Notepad with the new name given explicitly would fix it.Melichan923 wrote:You know what's even stranger?
