interlacing

you could always filter and deinterlace on your pc and transfer the avi files to your mac to edit with. (if i recall you will have to use uncompressed avi which will take up a TON of hd space though - external hds ftw?)

Here is a site centered around Mac. It's a bit more barebones than the AMVapp guide, but it's still useful for working on a Mac. You should check it out.

awesome, am looking into the stuff mentioned on the site, being i don't mind switching back and for between my windows box and mac, but if i can keep it on my mac all the way it works better for me. also the fact i dont need to download much, if anything helps alot being my pc doesn't have alot of video apps as is.

livingflame: so far that site is awesome, it actually with a lil more work than they suggested broke the interlacing (finally) on the source video. thank you for the suggestion <3>.<
