I had to load some clips into Vdub using Direct show source. But when I try to seek through the episode to make clips, my in and out points don't match up with what's on my preview screen. (IE: I'll make i/o points to designate the clip I want, but when it exports it's not what it's supposed to be.)
Anyone know how to fix this?
DSS and sync prob (for lack of a better word)

This will happen quite often since Directshowsource isn't frame accurate. It works if you transcode the whole thing, but not if you're using it as part of an import script.
I believe the alternative i've seen posted around was FFmpegSource. A forum search confirms this.

Yes, FFmpegSource will work - note, however, that it no longer requires you to place a bunch of other .dll files in your path - as of version 1.14 it's statically linked, so there's no additional steps to get it to work aside from the standard 'put it in your plugins folder and refer to the manual for the syntax'.
