This isn't for things that are hard to find, really, it's for categories where there are so many videos that it's hard to know which are good.

Is there any way editing a post can signal an 'update' to the thread itself? Now, if someone adds some new vids you'll never know it unless you regularly check all the threads for updates. That's especially bad with the threads on the second page that may sit there for months without any new posts to register as 'updates'.

If that's not possible with a forum, nevermind.

Where would you suggest an appropriate thread on such videos would be placed then?

You can always edit your posts to tick the "send e-mail updates" box if you like.

so, making suggestions as to what kind of threads??

perhaps a "holiday" thread would be nice, since you cant really look up what holliday theme youre looking for on the Super Search, it might be nice to see what people recommend (and I think it should be for any holiday and not just a single one)
