Anyone reading these topics probably knows <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 54381">War of Wrath</a> is being considered for various catagories. What many probably don't realize is that his first vids were typical DBZ stuff. The difference between his first video this year and his other ones is absolutely astounding.

<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... ialarts</a> is another one who improved alot. His first video was pretty typical for an action vid but he developed his own interesting style as the year went on and I'm nominating at least one of his vids in another catagory.

This is why this award is so damn bogus.

Unless you know everyone closely on the org, it's impossible to reach a popular consensus. The nominations always go out the window with many saying themselves, and a few groups for one person that chaotically deduce a winner in the end.

Now, you can say that about every category, but this one gets so opinionated that it becomes completely unprecise. It always narrows down to most popular who has improved.

You can't evaluate how someone has improved as well as you can with video awards, since videos are generally selected by how well you enjoy them. Creator of the year is always known as who made the best videos, Rookie of the year is who made the best videos and is new, and Most Improved is certainly most improved. However, people can democratically agree on which videos are the best made by creators, but with most improved it has to be someone who has made the videos with the most dramatical improvement. In the end how can you be sure who has improved more than another, especially since people have different styles? It's inaccurate, I say...

Yeah, these are some of my first videos that I made. Mostly I didn't know exactly what all went into a music video. That there should be a storyline and that it should actually go with the song. ^.^;;;

I would say that i have improved a lot but it's can't be really seen in the video because my stupid program (WMM) is always messing up. I would buy a better program if i could but i can't. I'm a poor college student T_T
