MF O.S.T. MEP-I Finally Decided On One [Interest Gauge]

Well, as I absolutely love this anime and the music in the series, I finally decided on the MEP I wanna do next. As my current MEP is just about finished, I want to start setting up for my next. And this is the one I choose to do. I put my foot down and said, "THIS IS IT!" The Macross Frontier O.S.T. finally came out, and I just had to do a mix to this. As I am a die hard Macross and Robotech fan, this was an absolute must for me. I am taking great care with this MIX and am happy so far with it. I think the Mix is fine as is, so it is more than likely going to stay the way it is.

I would just like a general opinion from everyone. I hope that some of you are interested, as I would love to get this thing underway. I hope you all enjoy the mix.

For the record, I started out with the fast paced songs, and tried to end it slowly.

If the mix needs any kind of work, please, let me know. I will gladly fix any and all errors with this mix. As I really want to do this MEP.

And for the record, if this thing does take off, you do not have to use Macross Frontier as your source.

As I said. I will fix it to make it the best Macross Frontier O.S.T. Mix possible for this MEP. I will listen to advice given and change songs if needed. I really want to do this MEP. So adding songs, replacing songs, or taking out songs is a possibility as well. I will listen to anything anyone has to say. As I really love the show, and I really love the music.

Yeah, I was also iffy about mixing the Sheryl and Ranka version's as well. That is going to be changed. I want to keep Aimo in there as well. I can add more songs or take out songs if necessary.

I am currently working on it now. Experimenting with some other songs. I'll upload another mix shortly.

I think you should shorten all of the track so about a minute and add other ones in. Otherwise, #1, it will have a 'drag on' kinda feel and you don't want that in a MEP and #2 it becomes hard for editor to do the entire thing, they'll either drop out or if the tracks are split into parts then it becomes hard to transition everything based on the same song.

Anyway good luck, I do enjoy Macross and the songs as well.

btw have you considered doing an 'all Macross' MEP music one?

I have. But I do not know how many people actually like Macross to begin with, so saying that they can only edit with Macross material is kinda.....ehhh. ANyway, am currently working on the new Mix. I should have it up sometime soon.

I tried my best to sync transition these songs well. I hope I did alright. What does everyone else think? I just really want to do this MEP, and I will redo the MIX as many times as needed to get it right.

I'll try to make one myself later today and send it to you. I also agree with someone that INFINITY needs to be in there. btw im saying all of this because even if you do have an awesome mix I feel that you're going have a hard time filling all the tracks. Anyway more IRC convo posting:

Hmmm, alright. I'll make another mix in the morning. I'll include Infinity. I meant to put it in their this time, but I kinda got carried away with editing, haha. Also, about Aimo......I kinda want it in their, but if it has to be in the ending credits, then it's fine. I just REALLy want to do this MEP, and will continue editing the mix, until everyone that wants to be involved agrees with it. Even still, if people aren't interested in joining, I'll wind up doing the whole mix myself. Haha.

Also, yeah, I agree, it should be all Sheryl, but some of Ranka's songs are good as well. You can edit to Aimo. Anything can be edited to, me personally, I like a challenge :p.

Anyway, thanks for all the advice. I'll make another in the morning.
