Alternative Rock Mep Interest Gauge {Updated}

Post by FlareChain » Sun Jul 22, 2007 8:19 pm

After I saw alot more positive replys than I expected, I decided to start thinking about this mep more seriously. It seems alot of people are interested in what songs I would choose so here are some ideas:

-YellowCard
-SugarCult
-Off By One
-Bowling For Soup
-New Found Glory
-Etc

Any suggestions would be gladly taken at this time :D

Track timeframes and a full mix would come soon, as well as my first full amv in awhile that I can proudly upload here. So yeah if you're wondering about my skill level considering I'm running an mep, you can either wait or pm me and I can send you a download link to some of my previous unfinished work.

Think of this as more of an updated post rather than the start of another mep.

-More details coming A.S.A.P.

I'm defnietly interested, however I'd use Tailbone (melb, atmospheric/alt/rock) if you want to listen http://www.tailbone.com.au/media.html, have a listen to space junk.

yeah I can see where you're coming from. I'd probably go with things such as SugarCult, Offspring, etc, but since I noticed an Offspring Mep already going on, I'd have to also think of more bands or use a song the Offspring Mep is not using. So yeah after I decide if I'll be running this or not, I'd have an update on the exact bands I would be using.

I went to the site and listened to Space Junk. And yeah that'd be alright if you would use that. I'd include it in the updated post later on if I do run this Mep.

Oh just so you know, I'm not going to use that song, its just a rough idea of what the band does, I have another song in mind and its a little less ... creative, than that track, but still a great listen none-the-less.

Sounds intriguing, but will there be a running theme (comedy, action, etc)? Right now it seems like this would look like a mish-mash of clips set to songs by bands only some of us have ever heard of (and believe me, I have plenty of those ;)).

I guess I feel like there should be more of a focus...
