If the this happens after the ~20th of september or so, My computer can be used as a storage for all the stuff and I can give you ftp access to it :)

It's the best way, I think, because most of the people from Bulgaria in this project(4 of them, including the coordinator :) ) have really crappy international internet speeds(in bulgaria international speeds are 2-10KB/s for most ISP, and up to 10 times the same for BG peer), while I'll have a nice 800-1200mbps international and 5x BG, so file exchange will be alot faster and easier. Especially if it's huffyuv exports :) . And I can render the whole stuff too, since encoding is my passion

Dang...too bad I will be away from my PC for a month and a half, and can't join this project editor-wise :(

Would be nice if it's complete till then.Looks like a big delay. ^^;
And if you want to join keep that in mind cause you never know what'll happen.

Sounds nice :) But sice you won't be available till the end of september i was thinking everyone could send their parts to me when they're done through IRC or smth like that. :/
Rendering doesn't scare me that much.I'm concerned more about how are the parts going to turn out with/without overlaps or the variety of video quality.

Oh, never mind then. But we have all the parts filled, which is a good sign. :D

If we are done with parts before then, we can write up .torrents and distribute them to the other people working on this project. Just a thought.

Neat synch. :) But don't you think it would look better if the vid remains 16:9 rather than 4:3 stretched/cropped? Because mine is also widescreen and I prefer to keep it that way.

What about those with 4:3?

Would be nice if all of you post your resolution and add a screenshot if possible. :?

I cropped mine and it looked, well, not too bad. I'll post my draft here in a few days.

In VirtualDub filters...
Add null transform
Click on Cropping
If your video is 640x480, Enter the value of 60 in both Y1 & Y2 offsets. Otherwise use this formula:

Crop value = [ y - ( x / 16 * 9 ) ] / 2
where
x is your 4:3 video width
y is video height
