Great Beta so far. Here are my thoughts:

I think you should go with a different effect other than the Flash at 3 seconds. It's a bit jarring. The lip sync at 4 seconds needs to be touched up and streamlined. The flash at 6 seconds leading into the lip sync at 7 seconds is really jarring so I suggest using something besides the flash. The lip sync at 7 needs some work as well. The last 3 beats of the song at the end I think should be beat synced to using other scenes instead of them just being on the ground. I think it would be a lot better that way.

P.S. Also, I'm not sure if it was my player opr my equipment, but it looked like there were a lot of fragments. Just thought I would let you know just in case it wasn't my player.

Other than that, I think it's turning out great. Keep it up. I'm excited for the next beta!

Update: I wanted you guys to also know to pass your betas around to each member of the MEP and not just to me. That way you can get input from everyone and different takes. That way we make sure that the input from each other and the MEP as a whole is more cohesive.

Notes UPDATE:

- It seems I have figured it out the best settings for my rendering by bumping up the bitrate and quality for it which should have fixed the pixelated rendering (since my source video file is in good quality) and now should be in good quality for the rendered project.. it seems that I have noticed it gets pixelated to some very action-oriented scenes with many colors that should have been taken cared of with the newly re-worked and revamped rendering settings.

- added more lip sync scenes and timing beats in the end.

- focused more on beat and lip syncs rather than effects so did not use after effects mainly pure raw standard linear video editing.

LOOKS MUCH BETTER! The only complaint I have revolves around a certain section of the part now.

The part where she is in the white apron and black panties all the way until they are running while holding hands seems really mis-timed. If you could match the switching of the scenes to the beat and then when it comes to the hand holding scene, instead of straight switching to her saying lucky strike, fade the hand holding into the lucky strike part. It's ok if it fades a little into the beginning of the lip sync. I think it would look much smoother and look real nice as well as keeping the pacing of the video up.

Also, the fragments and lines I saw in the last beta seem to be gone now.

If you did those things, I think the Beta would be ready for final.
