?
... I´m not so happy about this part like the others.
Let´s start!
00:02 is this the transition to the other part?
00:03 I don´t like the hard cut. It leaves the first scene with no connection. With light and such stuff you could manage a good transition.
00:04 It´s so static. Camera motion would be fine. Zoom into a bit and let it slightly rotate in 3D for only 4 or 3 degrees. Try it out. It´s just a suggestion.
Personally I don´t like that the colours move from skyblue to orange.
00:06 Could look better with blending modes. Maybe like the blue at the beginning?
00:07 The rotoscopes are stills. Ok. Blur a bit the other lines (Strength one or two). Can Vegas draw an outer line from a vector like AE can?
Maybe you would like to try this too:
site that converts stills into vector graphics (HAS NO ALPHA CHANNEL FOR IMAGES)
Ah... There is a blue line again. Fine.
The avatarstuff works fine. I might edit mine to get out this small logo at the edge.
00:13 Meh... I´m not a fine of her writing "motion". I don´t know how you could bring it better to the music.
Yeah to the mask: You could blur the edges a bit.
To her colours: She´s really dark you know? Blending modes and contrasts could make her look with smexy colours.
I don´t know about the background: It looks good. You could add some small (slight!) lights for the stars.

Damn you and your post-modernist genius, Copycat. DAMN YOU.
(NO, I DON'T KNOW WHAT POST-MODERNIST MEANS. CHILL, GODDAMNIT!)
I watch this the first time, and I'm like, wtf? bad masking, bad cuts, blah, blah...
But something in there caught my eye. Something seemed interesting. So I come back 5 minutes later, watch it again, and I'm like, hmm, this isn't so bad.
30 minutes later, I'm in love with your beta. It's like Drink More Bleach all over again. I'm sure Bauzi loves it by now too

I just looked up post-modernism on wikipedia and I can safely say that I still don't know what it means, only that it comes after modernism.
As for the beta, the first few scenes in the very beginning will almost definitely change in some way. And yes, I know the masking isn't perfect in the end either, I'm working on that. This is just the rough version to get an idea of the concept.
Oh, and I've got a crazy idea that I want to bounce off of everyone's heads. See in the end how octopus cycles in and back out in time with the beats. There's going to be many other things moving in the same way, but as I was getting this beta ready, I thought of something: Since my track is so close to the beginning, what if instead I cycled through (very crudely drawn) representations of the editors (as bunnies perhaps?). Trust me, it would look better than it sounds but I want to know if this would be a good idea or not before I waste my time. Besides, I have no idea what the intro will be like, so it may end up contradictory. Whatever, just an idea.
Oh, and thanks omega. Unless you say the same thing for the next beta, in which case I will despise you.

Actually I did that on purpose because the original looked really washed out, but I'll see if I can lighten it.To her colours: She´s really dark you know? Blending modes and contrasts could make her look with smexy colours.

OHHHHH! That brought me really good images into my mind of how it could look. DO IT!Since my track is so close to the beginning, what if instead I cycled through (very crudely drawn) representations of the editors (as bunnies perhaps?).

even though I know you are kidding/joking, I must say that I have only really liked CopyCat's and Scott's, not saying that the others sucked balls, but yeah they need more work than this 2 IMOguy07 wrote:You just like all the betas so much because YOU SUCKomegaevolution wrote:excuse me for really liking it so much at the point of saying the same thing I said to you O:Scott Green wrote:Seems like the only thing you can say :Oomegaevolution wrote:FUCKING BEST BETA SO FAR!!

@CopyCat: depends if the rabbit impresses me as much as he impressed me with his Blumchen beta, or anybody else pulls out of their asses a kickass beta that will make me say that again

EDIT: oh damn I just noticed I'm the 999th post >.<
