What he's saying is that you shouldn't just wait till the last minute to get it done. It was mainly given because about 1/2 of the people had school things to deal with, and when those were done, you're supposed to work on it. I can see why people are irked.
Keep in mind, I'm not going to be so generous next round, especially considering that the judges pick your.... Uh. Ignore what I just said.
You've had three weeks thus far. Anybody that drops/doesn't make deadline at this point... Let's just say it won't be pretty.
