right, but what I mean is, 640 x 480 goes out evenly to 848 x 480 as far as I know, but would going to 848 x 480 distort the original 640 x 352 heavily or?

Since both 848x480 and 640x352 are correct 16:9 Aspect Ratio, there shouldn't be any distortion.

But Upscaling 640x352 to 848x480 will most likely give you like..errr...a big loss of your Visual Quality..

Well, this was only gonna work if everyone was able to re-encode their tracks to the right size. I don't want anyone upscaling cause that defeats the purpose of increasing quality.

It's lookin like were gonna have to stick with 640x480 which isn't necesarily a bad thing really. The viewing quality would of been a bit better at the higher resolution is all.

Sorry I brought it up so late in the MEP guys still learning how this mep business works. Apparently i didn't do enough planning on the technical side of it.

Kev you can still re-encode your track again since you said you had quality issues and get it to me: letterboxed 640x480.

BTW since Ghet mentioned it earlier... I wont be doing a Dragonforce 2 untill another album comes out which will be a while since they are on tour right now or atleast last time i checked they were.

HOWEVER, I will be doing another high speed tempo music MEP only the theme will be more Punkish invloving speedy rock/pop/metal music (I don't care if its overused either). I wont be limiting by making a mix first, people will reserve the right to select their own cuts from the songs they like.

But there will be a catch to it. The theme will be "Motivation". I probably wont be starting it till summer of 2008. More details about that will have to wait
