And so the mystery of Songbird's video is solved: I confused with bakadeshi's because of the similar titles. Ooops.
may seeds of dreams fall from my hands -

i just learned a better method to convert to from wmm's avi to huffyuv. i'll play around with it a while (probably need a few days to a week) to see if i can get better quality. the problem is i'm leaving for home today and i'll be dialup at home, so i don't see a 400-600 mb upload likely. i might need to use the lagarith codec or possibly a lossy compression instead.

Whew, I'm back here (sorry, have been a bit... dead, AMV-wise lately)

Getting all the new WIP there - see how you people are doing.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Hey, me too.

I'm back home finally, trying to get a job . Time to get back in the AMV scene. I'm getting all the new WIPs, looks great so far. Rose4Emily yours won't play, what codec is it? My own video is being slowly modified, I'll finish it eventually.

About the other projects -
They both sound great, looks like we are going to have a lot of the same editors :). I like "of man" particularly but it is not as unique as a lot of videos deal with themes of human nature/emotion. What might be interesting is if we got one video for each emotion. So one for love, one for hate, one for anger etc. (I call depression!)

Anubisx00 - nothing but praise man. It's simply beautiful, I was worried it was going to get into the overdone areas with the first angel battle, but the freeze frames set it apart from the rest, and the music, of course. The parts where it unfreezes are amazing especially the one where Rei suddenly begins breathing. I liked it a little better when the angels entrance was just on the key change. The fade out of the eva going up the elevator could be a bit longer as that is a really nice juxtaposition. The soft section is just perfect in my opinion, wonderful stuff. Keep up the good work!

It's good to be back. :o

 Pen-pen you amaze me with your ver 4.0 of Requim for a dream. Fabilous job on it. This is favorite material. Excellent job on tellling the story, It is very clear, and I especially like how you build up to the climax at the end. Gets very gripping especially after the scene with the table incident, (where you left off in the previous versions) and I couldn;t peel my eyes off the screen until the end. and a good ending it was. I now must go and rent this movie. (I saw it in blockbuster) Your story telling was so good infact, I feel I already know what the movie is about now after seeing your video. I love the music, and it perfectly fit the mood of the anime, or at least the scenes you chose from the anime. This video could win in competitions. There are some nitpicks though, mostly timing issues. some scenes I feel can be timed even tighter. you probably know what I'm talking about, And might even be still working on them, so I won;t detail them yet, but if not I can post a detailed timeline breakdown if you want. but thats the only complaints I had with it. everything else is nothing but praise. WHen you post the final full quality version, I'm keeping it for archives like i did with Ararat ;p

I couldn;t get any of the other videos yet because ftp went down after i got Penpens. so I will post again when I get the chance to check out more WIPs.

As for my project, I might be changing a few things, I'm replanning the flow of the video a bit after rewatching the first DVD of lodus war. It seems too random for my liking as it is now.

I'm having a couple of FTP troubles, patience seems to be the best cure.

Bakadeshi, I would love a timing breakdown from you. Let me upload my latest, (should be ready tomorrow) since I'm doing some scene changes that will affect the timing. Thanks for the encouragement!

Oh and BTW, I have the project on a comp with 40 gigs free HDD space so I'll finally be able to do a real encode. :)

It's great to be back where I can get anime again. :D (new video ideas are brewing -- probably something for "of man")

Guys... even though it may seem a bit boorish of me to bring up again..

..but I'd still like feedback on my video from someone besides rose4emily, as I'd like critique.

If it's still there, it's probably in the outbox as The Alchemist.

Thank you for your time.
