close all your programs. Limewire, torrent, msn or whatever. Thats cause of that.

That'll probably do it. I don't know about vegas, but I know having Premiere open makes my connection slower that a slug in molasses.

well..it might be possible that Vegas takes too much virtual memory and so its disturbing the connection? I dunno much about it though XD
