Re: Project: Editor (Round 3) (Results of Round 2 Up ; Page 11)
Goodness... Quite a long time since we've posted here isn't it?
Well, I have a lot of news/updates for ya, so let's get started, shall we?
First of all, since the forums were down, it is my great pleasure to announce that you guys will be getting a slight extension. Granted, not a long one, but still a small amount of time. You will have until Wednesday, November 19 to get your tracks in to me via pm. Please remember to have your anime/song/song artist with your pm. I've had issues with round 1 and 2 googling lyrics that I think that I heard, then searching and looking for who sang it. Not only that, but guessing what anime you had isn't very fun either.
Secondly, because Round 3 is so close to being done, we're going to wait and release the round 2 and round 3 compilations together. Mostly out of convenience, but also because there are still a few bugs to be worked out with round 2's intros, and my third explanation will explain why.
Thirdly, I'm kind of sad for this one, but I knew it was coming eventually, especially after being away from the org for a week. I've really just lost interest in AMV's and editing and anything to do with the two. Not only that, but college and other things have slowly taken over any and all of my free time. I've sat down at night the last week(nearly 10-11 pm), getting ready for bed, and realized I hadn't touched the Round 2 timeline the entire day. Coordinating a MEP is the last thing that I'm motivated or even capable of doing at the moment, and I'm struggling to find time/energy to motivate to it. Not only that, but I'm sure you guys realize what an awesome project this is! You guys probably don't want some half-assed attempt anyway! Originally, I was going to stick it out for Project Editor, then kind of back away and probably kind of disintegrate into the background. However, TOHH was kind enough to jump in and take over as coordinator for rounds 4-Final, and I have complete trust in his ability to run this project (he was already a pretty awesome driving force behind it to begin with).
I'll finish out round 3 as coordinator, and still continue to be a judge in the latter rounds, I just will no longer actually edit the compilations or come up with round themes or make decisions regarding either of those subjects. I'll also still be stalking the forum, but not to such a high degree as I used to.
I'd just like to say that I thank you guys a lot for joining this project, and sticking with it so well.
