Ok, so here's the beta I spoke of. (Since I got on a roll and finished about 40 seconds of the segment. lol) I figured I'd go ahead and post this a)so you can see what I'm doing and say yay or nay to my concept, editing, etc. (Like what betas are generally for.
) And b) I'm not exactly sure what direction I want to go in for the rest of it. (For the "My drug. . ." part)
Basically, so far, it's Kadaj as the personification of Cloud's sickness and problems. Though, it does vaguely have shounen-ai-esque undertones. Now I had about 4 different ways I could go with it after this. I could keep the shounen-ai theme and switch over to Cloud's POV where he's basically pointing out Kadaj as his sickness and cure. Or, I could keep this in the POV of Kadaj, which the whole "drug" thing could take on about 3 meanings. It could be in an illegal drug sense and the false sense of euphoria, which I would focus on power and the spheres. Or I could go with it in the medical sense where it is more of a cure, which would then put the focus on Aerith. Or, it could be in more of a medical testing, mutating, X-men sort of way, which would then involve the whole Jenova/Sephiroth thing.
So after watching it, let me know what you think would be the better idea to follow that. (Or if you have a better one.) Also, let me know if there's anything you want me to change, since minus a couple sync tightenings and a little bit of reworking in the chorus, this is probably about what I'll be turning in for that part. Well, hope its ok. *^_^*
