Well I have quite a few clips (about 9) left that i submitted for amv hell 4 but didnt make it. Some of them are (imho) quite good but the problem is the requirements for amv hell were different.
They are all 640x480 (4:3), 25fps, 320 kbps audio, all HQ.
Now, I think 29.97fps is a waste of frames (the eye sees everything 24fps and up as fluid), and my source files are all 25 fps. So there's no chance of recompiling them at more.
The resolution you ask for (720x480) is 6:4 (or 3:2) and not 4:3 as you later ask for.
Also, my clips are not commercials but 'normal', but I guess that was OK too?
So I'm just wondering if I can send them in?

The frame rate and resolution you propose don't sound unreasonable. As long as the visual quality is good enough to be shown on a big screen (i.e. at conventions) I won't be too concerned. The whole thing in the end will be rendered to the tech standards laid out in the initial post anyway. If there are adjustments to be made, I'll deal with them if absolutely necessary.
As stated before, I will need regular clips to place in between the commercials / trailers. If, for whatever reason, I don't receive enough theme material for this project then it may end up looking like "just another Salad." Here's to hoping that doesn't happen.

I also apologize for the slow response. I haven't been receiving thread update alerts like I'm supposed to...

I sent the vid's over just now. The ones with letterboxing i 'cropped' / reëncoded them without bars. I hope this will save you some time. Although i used a multiplier of 1 with encoding, it might still be wiser to resize the vid in premiere / vegas / whatever-you-use..
Yeah I understand, but it's rather hard finding English commercials in The Netherlands though

No matter. I just had the tab open and refreshed it 2-3x a day

Btw I believe GMAIL only let's you receive up to 20 MB per mail, so I send 4 e-mails. Hope they aren't bounced

If you'll forgive the tragedy of my watermarks last time, I'd love to have Hourglass Productions be a part of this Salad...obviously not repeating that mistake.
I've got 2 ideas that would fall under the "regularly scheduled programming"...normal clips, that is.
But I've got a question about the other ideas of mine. Basically, they are a series of clips I've done in my Hajime no Ippo videos, entitled WWTD (What Would Takamura Do?). They might qualify as a kind of PSA, so should I send those too?
...totally just posted this in the wrong spot...if you see it elsewhere, ignore
