and the other question is this: use the sakura cards? or the clow cards? (essentially the same thing, cept the sakura ones are pink and the clow ones are red and yellow)

Sakura cards might be better, then someone could use the Hope card and the Nameless card if they wanted to.

I have the entire Sakura deck scanned into my computer (thank you anime fan down the street!), so it will more than likely be the Sakura Cards. For changing in between segments, I was actually thinking of doing the traveling cards and the segment's card fly in the center.
