Yeah I got the PM, but I don't need the images now that I kind of made my own. I thought it would be nice to use the same bumper image in the org release, but I got impatient and created a bumper anyways. Sorry about not responding quickly, I've been busy this weekend. So disregard my PM, everythings a-ok now ^_^!

Yea i knew that, but i mean is there anyway to say "hello photoshop, i want this image in 4:3 aspect ratio with the least amount of size reduction." I could probably just as easily find out the ratio for myself and do it all manually, but while im at it, i might as well learn more about photoshop.Jasper-Isis wrote:Just go to Image --> Image Size... and enter a new resolution.AznRAVEr1022 wrote:I have a question about the images: How can i change the aspect ratio in photoshop? Some of my images i can't find a viable substitute for so i guess i'll have to resize them.

i'm back from otakon as well. fun stuff, but too bad i couldn't find anyone else from this project there. bakadeshi's video put up a great show. anyways, i've updated my 'summary page.' also, if aznraver can finish his next video soon, i wouldn't mind adding it to the project.
rose4emily: the huffy version you have right now has the wrong resolution and framerate. if you try decimating the framerate to 24 fps it will be too choppy. i have a smooth 24 fps 512x384 huffy that i will mail out tomorrow.
i'm still having trouble connecting to rose4emily's. the dns points thewired.info to the same ip as before.

oh yeah rose4emily, i'd prefer you use a casual voice in the narration.

Yea, casual does seem a bit more appropriate.
Still no FTP from me. Again though, I can just post the images if you want to get started on those monologue segments.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I like the casual voice idea. I mean, the guy is sitting in a den and smoking a pipe or whatever.
And I'd be happy to do any voices, but there are no microphone around the house that I can use. Having a female voice would mean more work for Rose4Emily anyway.
Otohiko: can't you just export another copy of your video using the project file? Or have you accidentally deleted that as well?
If you'd enabled auto-save, there should be a more or less complete project file lying somewhere on your computer. If you can't find anything... oh well. Your XviD encodes were pretty good anyway.
Hmm...
Can I plug Absolution one more time? It's a tribute to an underappreciated character from Ah! My Goddess. And the music's by Bond, so how could you go wrong?
Okay I'll stop.

ah back from Otakon, though Internet is limited for me since my Dads PC is the only one online. Our router fried.
Anyway, I missed alot of the AMV creators this year, since we went to the cosplay rather than the AMV pannel, and missed the pannel on friday, got there too late.
I did get to meet scintilla though, he had a a-m-v.org badge ;p I need to do that next time.
It was nice to see my vid on the big screen for the first time and hear the cheers after it. Too bad I didn't catch songbirds vid in the screenings, It didn't show during the ones I attended.
Anyways, back to work on the project now. Good to be back, so we can finish this up ;p

As soon as I can connect to rose4emily's ftp, I'll upload my 24 fps huffy and images. The huffy is about 1gb with uncompressed pcm audio. I can wait some time, just hope it won't take too long for it be up again. Now I wonder if it will take until September to finish this whole project. I also agree with the casual voice, it would just fit nicely. Maybe whoever is doing the voicing (rose4emily I think?) should record multiple styles and put it on an ftp for us to download and vote on. Just an idea ^_^!

I would be willing to do the narratives. (FYI: My name is Wendy) I can use my regular voice or a light british voice. I can send you samples of both.rose4emily wrote:QUICK SURVEY:
Another possibility, of course, would be to use a female voice, but that'd require getting someone else to sign up for some or all of the narratives - so that decision would really fall in the hands of Helen (Jasper-Isis) and Songbird (whose name I don't know).
Or should I just try a few takes for each one and put them all up before selecting one?
